One of the biggest favorites for victory, the fresh holder of the brown belt, only twenty-year-old Julia Mikołajczak, revealed to us what she does in her free time outside of BJJ, and what her training structure is like

Could you briefly introduce yourself to Czech and Slovak fans. What are your biggest achievements in BJJ and what do you do in your free time?

My name is Julia Mikołajczak. I train in Checkmat Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland. I think my biggest achievement for now is the win of Open PRO category at ADCC Polish Nationals and first place in Open PRO at the SOLT 5 tournament.

Mostly I appreciate my peace and spend time in the small group of people I know. BJJ fills my need of adrenaline boost and that's my way to gain the energy.

How did your preparation for the tournament go? Did you include anything different than usual?

I think I'm preparing pretty well for the tournament. I don't include anything different than usual because the idea of training I'm using at the moment suits me. I analyze, correct and focus on my game.

If you had to make a prediction on how you would do in a tournament and how you would finish your opponents. Which of your opponents can threaten you the most on your way to victory?

I don't want to uncover myself, but I'm a submission fighter, and I would definitely try to finish the fight before time runs out. I'm not threatened by anybody. I go for gold, so I prepare myself for each girl in the bracket.
